Mumbi Kasumba is a Zambian singer/songwriter and guitarist. She got her start by performing at festivals and live music spaces in Ames, Iowa. She has since contributed music to the Kenyan-film Rafiki, which was screened at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Okay Africa noted that her single “You and I” is sure to put you in a dreamlike haze. Her music is a soothing blend of jazz, folk,and soul; and is sure to heal the heart.
